Dave Mirra (born April 4, 1974 in Chittenango, New York, USA), is today’s premier professional BMX rider. Dubbed the Miracle Boy, Dave Mirra has won over 20 X Games medals (14 Gold), more then any other X Game athelete.  He was the first BMX rider ever to perform a double-backflip in competition.

Dave Mirra turned pro in 1992 at the age of 17 and quickly made a name for himself with his lofty airs and dialed style. But the next year, Dave Mirra was hit by a drunk driver while crossing the street, threatening his career. After a long recovery from a fractured skull and a badly damaged shoulder, Dave Mirra returned to continue his ascent to greatness.

Renowned for his amazing tricks and big air maneuvers, Dave Mirra is one of the most recognized action sports athletes in the world today along with the likes of Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods.
