CRAVE Entertainment Aerowings 2 Airstrike

AeroWings 2: Air Strike features four massive modes for enhanced replayability!

Fighter Pilot Missions
The Fighter Pilot Missions will guide you step by step through every nuance of air maneuvering and combat. You must complete each Fighter Pilot mission to advance to the next. Everything is covered - flight basics to advance combat maneuvers - just make sure you listen very carefully to your flight instructor!

Tactical Challenges
Tactical Challenges can be attempted at any point during your career, though it is probably best to build up your skills first. There are 15 challenges to choose from, with varying objectives and levels of difficulty. Points are awarded for the skillful completion of each challenge.

Free Flight
Free Flight mode allows you to pick any plane that you have unlocked during your career and fly through a variety of environments without distraction. There are no obstacles, no objectives, and no enemies to overcome (unless you choose to have some). Just you and the friendly skies.

VS Mode
Go head-to-head against a friend in white knuckle, high altitude, multi-player action. Choose your rides, battle area, weather conditions, initial formation and your off!

Additional Features
Additionally, one of the stellar features of AeroWings 2: Air Strike is the Replay Theater. As you may, or may not, know each Sega Dreamcast VMU has 200 "blocks" of storage capacity. In the case of AeroWings 2, ten blocks translate into about one minute of recorded replay game time. Films as large as 60 blocks (6 minutes) can be recorded to a single VMU.

When in Replay Theater Mode, a new control panel opens on the left side of the screen. From this screen you can play, pause, fast forward, and rewind your replay. In addition, you can select from over 20 camera angles to edit and save your own flight film.

Then with the click of a button remove all replay controls and watch your epic. You can even select "letterbox" playback for that true movie-going experience.

Lastly, you can use the "Resume Game" button to jump back into your replay and start playing it again from any point! Does your replay end with you eating flaming death at the hands of your enemy? Jump back in and re-write history! After you have replayed all or part of a mission, you can choose to keep the replay or stay with the original.
